SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a system and methods for washing and de-icing aircraft and includes a hangar containing three portals for providing various stages of the washing or de-icing process. The design of the portals is essentially telescopic rods that provide great flexibility in the placement of the nozzle clusters during the wash and de-icing process. All functionality and layout of this system is provided by a programmable system.
