FIELD: oil production.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to methods for the use of gel-forming fluids for formation acidizing. Presented is a method of acidizing a formation through which a wellbore passes, including pumping into the wellbore under pressure that required is below for hydrofracturing, a treatment fluid that contains a gelling fluid containing a gelling agent and a hydrophobically modified associative polymer, and an aqueous acid solution; enabling acidizing treatment of the formation with the treatment fluid. The specified hydrophobically modified associative polymer contains at least one water-insoluble part selected from a group consisting of esters of linear or branched alkyl or alkylaryl alcohol and acrylic or methacrylic acid.
EFFECT: obtaining an effective diverting agent for acid treatments at moderate with possibility of reducing gelling fluid viscosity over time at the formation temperature for easy refinement.
