SUBSTANCE: mechanism is intended for use in locks and contains at least one guide (1), at least one connecting rod (3) intended for connection with the first pivotally connected element. Its first end is intended for being pivotally connected with the second pivotally connected element. Its second end interacts with at least one guide (1). At least one guide (1) has at least one curved section (5) with which the second end of at least one connecting rod (3) contacts with the possibility of movement along it directly or through a slider (2) connected to the second end of at least one connecting rod (3). At least one curved section (5) of at least one guide (1) is bent away from the contacting surface of the second end of at least one connecting rod (3) or slider (2).

EFFECT: invention increases reliability of fixation of elements pivotally connected to each other without a backlash and eliminates spontaneous opening/closing of elements. The invention also expands a section for guaranteed fixation of elements pivotally connected to each other.
