FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a melting crucible comprising a crucible body and a froth collection apparatus. Crucible body is provided with a melting chamber having an open upper end. Froth collection apparatus comprises a hanger, a bearing plate, a rotary plate and a drive mechanism configured to control the rotation of the rotary plate. Hanger is located above the melting chamber. Rotary plate is pivotally mounted on the bearing plate, and the bearing plate and the rotary plate are mounted on the hanger between an initial position and a first collection position with the possibility of moving up and down. Drive mechanism is connected to the rotary plate.
EFFECT: as a result, the speed and efficiency of the froth collection are increased.
