FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy and can be used for local heat treatment of welded joints of large-sized products. The method of local heat treatment of welded joints of large-sized products includes heating the welded joint zone, holding at a given temperature and cooling. Heating of the welded joint zone is carried out first to a temperature of 300 °C at a rate of no more than 40 °C/h, then to a temperature in the range of 620-660 °C at a rate of no more than 30 °C/h, while holding is performed at this temperature for 8-10 hours for final tempering, cooling is carried out to a temperature of 300 °C at a rate of not more than 30 °C/h, and subsequent cooling is performed in air to a temperature below 50 °C.
EFFECT: increased strength and plastic properties of welded joints of products, excluded significant temperature deformations during heat treatment of products with complex internals.
