FIELD: object lifting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of work on lifting sunken objects, namely to ship lifting slings designed to transmit lifting forces from lifting mechanisms located on the supporting floating craft, or from ship lifting pontoons. Towel sling, including lights at its ends, benzels, contractions, characterized in that the ends of the steel rope forming the towel sling at a distance from each other equal to the length of contact of the towel sling with the body of the object being lifted, are embedded in one of the threads of the towel sling with the help of bushings, and the grips in the middle part of the sling-towel are placed between the bushings in a checkerboard pattern, alternately connecting the left thread of the steel rope forming the sling with its central thread and the right thread of the steel rope forming the sling with its central thread.
EFFECT: increasing the strength of the towel sling and ensuring the minimum possible loads from the towel sling on the body of the object being lifted when lifting forces are applied.
