SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of transport engineering. The method of rescuing the crew of an emergency underwater facility using a floating rescue chamber consists in the fact that the crew goes into the floating rescue chamber, close the hatches of the floating rescue chamber and disconnect the floating rescue chamber from the emergency object. After the hatches of the floating rescue chamber are battened down, a rescue underwater vehicle is brought to it and connected, which transports the floating rescue chamber with the crew to a safe place.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of rescue operations in ice-covered areas.
