FIELD: underwater shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates rescue equipment. Pop up rescue chamber comprises hull with equipment to accommodate rescued crew and buoyancy unit. Buoyancy unit is made in the form of an elastic container with a compressed gas source fixed to the upper part of the housing of the floating rescue chamber. Rotary shields with horizontal axes of rotation are attached to the elastic container.
EFFECT: higher buoyancy margin of floating rescue chamber after surfacing to sea surface.
