The variable focal plane windshield indication system comprises a projection device for generating light representing at least one virtual graphic element; an image matrix for projecting light representing at least one virtual graphics element onto at least one image plane; display device for displaying at least one virtual graphic element on at least one image plane; and a conversion device for dynamically changing the position of the image matrix relative to the display device based on a predefined operating parameter, so as to dynamically vary the focal length between the display device and at least one image plane.
