FIELD: scattering mechanisms for projection systems.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions is related to systems such as head-up displays, virtual/augmented reality systems, etc. The magnetically driven scattering device includes a scattering screen through which emitted laser light is transmitted. The diffuser includes pendant members directed perpendicular to the diffuser screen or has any other orientation that permits or enables movement of the diffuser screen in the plane of the diffuser screen.
EFFECT: reduction of speckles and smoothing of projected images using a closed circular or reciprocating motion of the scattering screen in the plane of the scattering screen.
