FIELD: pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a pump (10) with an electromagnetic clutch. The pump includes a housing (12) at least partially filled with the pumped fluid, a chamber (14) of the impeller enclosed by the housing (12), a pump shaft (22), an impeller (24) located on the pump shaft (22) in the chamber (14) of the impeller. On the support (26) in the housing (12), the pump shaft (22) is installed, which seals the sleeve (18), covering the chamber (20) of the clutch. The rotor (50) is located in the clutch chamber (20) on the pump shaft (22). A ring (16) held in the housing holds the support (26) and separates the impeller chamber (14) from the clutch chamber (20). A channel (28) is formed in the ring (16) for supplying a partial flow of the pumped fluid from the chamber (14) of the impeller to the support (26) in order to lubricate the support (26). Part of the pumped fluid exiting the support (26) reaches the clutch chamber (20). The clutch chamber (20) is hermetically sealed relative to the impeller chamber (14) with the possibility of diverting the pumped working medium from the clutch chamber (20) to the impeller chamber (14) essentially only through the support.
EFFECT: reliable lubrication of the support (26) of the pump shaft (22) is provided for some time even when the pump (10) is running dry, that is, if it continues to run when there is no longer any fluid to be pumped on the suction side of the pump (10).
