FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: pump comprises housing 1 and working stages 2 with their impellers fitted on shaft 4. Drive shaft 11 is coupled, via magnetic coupling 12 comprising half-couplings 13, 14 and separating baffle 17, with shaft 4. Supports of shaft 4 represent at least two radial plain bearings 5, 6 and one thrust plain bearing 7. Working gap of bearings 6, 7 fitted on extension of shaft 4, on the side of inlet of stage 2, communicates with inlet channel 8. Shaft 4 has axial bore 18 and radial orifices 19 to communicate with flow passage of at least one of impellers 3 on the inlet side. Motor 3 and coupling 12 are arranged below stages 2 under channel 8. Channel 9 is arranged above stages 2. Bearing 6 is arranged above magnetic coupling 12 and seats nearby thrust bearing 7, right opposite the outlet of stages 2. Pressure chamber 10 communicates, via channel 18, with the chamber of separating baffle 17 that communicates, via aforesaid gap in bearing 6 and 7, with inlet channel 8.
EFFECT: higher reliability, lower metal input and servicing costs.
