FIELD: plants where perfect tightness is required to exclude any leakage of medium being handled outside. SUBSTANCE: pump includes rotor with impeller and armature of drive unit connected with it coaxially. Armature is mounted on radial sliding supports on central tubular rod between front and rear pivots. Armature is separated from remaining part of drive device by hermetic sleeve. Bottom of sleeve is connected with rear end of tubular rod. Front end of rod is secured in body of supply passage. Radial clearance between armature and sleeve and end clearance between surfaces of rear pivot are made as throttling and outlet passages respectively of piston hydrostatic support. Relationship of hydraulic resistances of above of above-mentioned throttling passages at maximum end clearance in rear support when rotor adjoins front pivot and diameter of rotor (as piston of hydrostatic support) are taken on the condition that axial force at above-mentioned support exceeds axial force of impeller.
