FIELD: polymeric materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for determining the rheological properties of polymeric materials in a viscous-flowing state under conditions of exposure to negative temperatures. A device for determining the rheological properties of polymeric materials under conditions of exposure to negative temperatures contains a freezer with a viewing window, reservoirs, a thermostatic jacket, while each of the reservoirs is equipped with a stem and a heat-insulating cover with an opening for the stem, the reservoir is made in the form of a cylinder that passes into a cone in the lower part and is equipped with a replaceable insert made of polytetrafluoroethylene (fluoroplastic) for connection with the freezer, ensuring better sliding of the polymer mixture along the walls of the tank during flowing out and facilitating maintenance of the device after the end of measurements, while an ellipsoidal valve is installed at the lower end of each stem, and its upper end connected by means of a threaded connection with a lifting lever, inside the freezer under each of the tanks there are rulers with a measuring scale, and to ensure the contrast of polymer materials on the measuring scale in the freezer is mounted source of contrasting lighting.

EFFECT: expanding the functionality of measuring the rheological properties of polymeric materials in a viscous-flow state under conditions of exposure to negative temperatures.
