FIELD: railways.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for replacing the butt clamp installed on the contact wire of the contact network of the railway. The device contains a coupling made with possibility of positioning at an angle to the axis of the contact wire, clamps connected to each other by means of a coupling, and equipped with bolts for fixing them to the contact wire. The coupling is made with possibility of turning to tighten the clamps fixed to the contact wire and replace the butt clamp.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at reducing the time for replacement of the butt clamp of the contact wire without violating the size of the rolling stock, without closing the tracks and under the voltage of the contact network.
