FIELD: screening materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of screening materials, and in particular to methods of controlling screening devices used to separate powder and bulk materials (products) using screens. It can be used to separate metal powders and granules used in additive, powder and granular production. The method for controlling the screening machine includes feeding the source material to the screening surface, carrying out screening, in which the material is divided into the first fraction remaining on the screening surface and into the second fraction passing through the screening surface, and performing granulometric control of the composition of the second fraction. Screening is carried out in three stages. At the first stage, the material is fed to the sieving surface and, simultaneously with supply, screening is carried out with the help of the vibrational-rotational movements of the screening surface as a result of which the material moves along circular paths. At the second stage, the supply of material is stopped and the first fraction is screened by means of circular motions along the screening surface. At the third stage, the first fraction is removed from the screening surface by setting the screening surface in a rotational motion, as a result of which the particles go to the descent.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing the percentage of recovery of the target fraction from the sieved source material, including difficult to sieve metal powders and granules with a particle size of less than 100 microns, increasing productivity of the sieving machine.
