FIELD: powder metallurgy, in particular, technique for separation of metal powders into fractions for manufacture of articles therefrom, as well as for separation of other bulk materials into fractions.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus for classification of finely dispersed powder in gaseous medium has vibratory drive, perforated shell, and sieve web. Shell is equipped with continuous metal panel rigidly fixed on lower edge of metal panel and provided with circular ribs having various height and defining channels, and central feeder reservoir with powder feeding slit. Sieve web is positioned above feeder and is equipped with rim and discharge trough. Powder particle discharge openings are provided through shell, opposite said channels and discharge trough.
EFFECT: increased precision in separation of finely dispersed powder into fractions, and increased yield of high-quality products.
