FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the automotive industry and can be used in the manufacture of parts for a vehicle. A welded steel part (1) is obtained by welding the first sheet (2) to the second sheet (3) at least one of which is a steel substrate and is coated with an aluminum alloy. Welding is performed using filler wire. The peripheral edges (2a, 3a) of the first (2) and second (3) sheets have a shoulder at the edge of one of the sheets. Moreover, the peripheral edge (2a) of the first sheet (2) is located above the upper side (3a11) of the end portion (3a1) of the peripheral (3a) edge of the second sheet (3). The specified end section is followed by an inclined connecting section (3a2), at least part of the upper side (3a21) of which, at least in the lateral direction, together with the edge (2a3) of the peripheral edge (2a) of the first sheet (2), the groove (5) for formation of a welded bead (4). The oblique connecting section (3a2) is followed by the welding section (3a3).
EFFECT: invention provides increased mechanical strength of the welded part.
