SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an aqueous composition as a cleaning composition or for the manufacture of a cleaning composition containing (A) an organic complexing agent selected from (A1) alkali metal salts of nitrilotriacetic acid (NTA), ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA), diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid (DTPA), hydroxyethylenetriaminetriacetic acid (HEDTA), glutamine diacetic acid (GLDA), and methylglycinediacetic acid (MGDA) and (A2) polymers, containing at least two structural units -CH₂-N(CH₂COOH) in the molecule, partially or completely neutralized with alkali, (B) salt of the following acids: nitric acid, sulfuric acid, sulfamic acid, methanesulfonic acid, carboxylic acids with 1-2 carbon atoms, hydroxymonocarboxylic acids with 2-4 carbon atoms, dicarboxylic acids with 2-7 carbon atoms, unsubstituted or substituted with hydroxyl, and tricarboxylic acids with 4-6 carbon atoms, each of which is unsubstituted or substituted by hydroxyl, (C) a compound selected from (C1) monoalkyl esters of phosphoric acid with 2-10 carbon atoms, (C2) alkyne alcohols with 3-10 carbon atoms, optionally alkoxylated with one to 10 alkoxide groups for each hydroxyl group, and (С3) alkyndiols with 4-10 carbon atoms, optionally alkoxylated with one to 10 alkoxide groups for each hydroxyl group, said aqueous composition having a pH within the range of 7.5 to 10.
