FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for making granules of salts of at least two aminopolycarboxylic acids (A). Disclosed is a method for making granules of salts of at least two aminopolycarboxylic acids (A) according to claim 1. The method encompasses the stages of: (a) providing an aqueous solution, (A1) of one alkali metal salt of a mixture of L- and D-enantiomers of methylglycine diacetic acid (MGDA). The said mixture predominantly contains the corresponding L-isomer with enantiomeric excess (ee) in the range from 10 to 95%, and (A2) one alkali metal salt of enantiomerically pure L-GLDA, and the weight ratio of (A1) to (A2) is in the range from 1: 9 to 9:1, (b) spray granulation of the said solution with an inlet gas temperature of at least 125°C. Additionally, the present invention relates to granules and their use.
EFFECT: invention provides a solid base component for cleaning compositions that demonstrates reduced yellowing in the presence of oxygen bleach.
