FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cleaning of contaminated metal surfaces. Purification is carried out using a composition containing at least one alkoxylated polyethyleneimine (B) with polydispersity Q = Mw/Mn in range of 3.5 to 10 and average molecular weight Mw in range from 2,500 to 1,500,000 g/mol, wherein alkoxylated polyethyleneimine (B) contains a backbone and alkylene oxide units in weight ratio ranging from 1:2 to 1:50.
EFFECT: invention provides removal of contamination from metal surfaces with partial or complete removal of corrosion parts, such as rust.
