FIELD: aviation; helicopters.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of electrolyte-plasma polishing of the surface of parts made of alloy steels and can be used to improve the performance of plate torsions of helicopter rotors. The method includes fixing the torsion plate in the tooling, applying a positive potential to the torsion plate relatively to the walls of the electrode bath and immersing the torsion plate in the electrolyte, forming a vapor-gas layer between the electrolyte and the torsion plate. A torsion plate made of alloy steel is used, an electric potential from 270 V to 310 V is applied to the torsion plate, and an aqueous solution containing from 6 to 7 g/l of ammonium sulfate salt and from 0.6 to 0.7 g/l of ammonium citric acid or citric acid is used as an electrolyte. The torsion plate is first placed horizontally, one of its edges up, and treated for 1.5 to 3.5 minutes when the plate is completely immersed in the electrolyte, then the torsion plate is turned over 180 degrees and the opposite edge is also processed.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at improving the quality of polishing and rounding of the edges of the plate torsion, as well as improving the performance characteristics of torsions while reducing the complexity of the processing.
