SUBSTANCE: invention relates to human VISTA antibodies. The isolated antibody or fragment of this antibody contains an antigen-binding region that specifically binds to a human T-cell activation suppressor containing Ig V-domain (human VISTA), while the antibody or a fragment of this antibody agonizes or stimulates one or more effects of VISTA on the immune system, and additionally, wherein the above antibody or a fragment of this antibody binds or interacts with one or more epitope residues on a human VISTA containing 27PVDKGHDVTF36 (SEQ ID NO: 61) and 54RRPIRDLTFQDL65 (SEQ ID NO: 62), wherein the specified antibody is selected from a specified list of amino acid sequences.
EFFECT: invention provides inhibition of the suppressive VISTA effect on T-cell immunity.
