FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy, namely to hardened and redistributed steel used for manufacture of a moulded component (2) operating under wear conditions. The steel of the component (2) contains, % wt.: C: 0.1 to 0.3, Si: 0.7 to 1.8, Mn: 1.5 to 3.0, Al: up to 1.5, N: up to 0.008, P: up to 0.002, S: up to 0.003, if necessary, at least one element from the group: Cr: up to 0.4, Mo: up to 0.25, Ni: up to 1.0, Nb: up to 0.06 , Ti: up to 0.07, V: up to 0.3 and B: up to 0.002, wherein the rest is iron and inevitable impurities. The hardened and redistributed steel has a hardness of at least 230 on the Brinell scale, a bending angle α of at least 60° measured according to VDA238-100 and/or the bending ratio r/t < 2.5, wherein t is the thickness of the steel material and r is the internal bending radius of the steel.
EFFECT: provided are required levels of hardness and wear resistance, as well as high deformation capacity contributing to manufacture of moulded components with complex geometry.
