FIELD: air conditioning.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ventilation and air conditioning technology and can be used to supply inlet air to facilities for various purposes. In an air diffuser containing a box with an inlet end pipe and outlet holes, an inlet pipe can be placed at the end opposite to the inlet end pipe, wherein the box is made in form of an air duct (1) with opposite ends and an inlet end pipe (2) is installed at one of the ends, and the inlet pipe (3) is located at the end of the air duct (1) opposite to the inlet end pipe (2), wherein the outlet holes (4) are made circular with internal screw threads for swirling the air flows, and the air duct (1) and pipes (2) and (3) are made cylindrical with circular cross-sections and equal internal diameters, wherein internal screw threads are made along the length of the air duct (1) and pipes (2) and (3) with equally directed screw generator lines for swirling air counter-flows in opposite directions, or the air duct (1) is made corrugated with screw-shaped corrugations.

EFFECT: creation of a variant of structural design of an air diffuser with lower material consumption and higher attenuation rate of the inlet flow speed.
