FIELD: weaponry.
SUBSTANCE: submachine gun has devices for controlling the operation of the striker, switching from single shots to shots in a burst, ejection of a cartridge case, sending a cartridge, a fuse, a bolt. The shutter contains springs of different stiffness, stem, weight. Disclosed is a method of firing from a submachine gun, in which the cartridge is inserted into the barrel at a distance corresponding to the length of the sleeve from the edge of the barrel. When fired, the sleeve moves back and moves the bolt elements: a bolt washer, a branch pipe with a striker and a thrust washer, a hard spring, a weight, a rod and a soft spring. The force of counteracting the movement of the sleeve, and, consequently, the barrel velocity of the bullet depends on the stiffness of the springs and the weight of the bolt elements. With an increase in the weight of the load and the stiffness of the springs, the opposing force to move the sleeve increases.
EFFECT: increased barrel speed of a bullet, increased effectiveness of the use of small arms.
