FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: pistol with a transverse sliding breechblock contains a movable barrel with a cartridge chamber, the lower half of which is cut off by the length of the bullet of the cartridge, and the inner diameter is equal to the outer diameter of the bullet. Gate consists of two halves, which are shaped to halves of a cylinder, the inner diameter of which is equal to the outer diameter of the sleeve. Breechblock halves move across the barrel axis along the guides on the cartridge chamber. Pistol contains a return spring which springs the breechblock halves. Body of striker hammer with inner surface of cylindrical shape, where breechblock halves enter at movement of barrel in axial direction, spring of barrel, which prevents movement of barrel in axial direction. Pistol contains a magazine in which there are two locking plates, which can turn relative to the axis of cartridges and which are spring-loaded by two flat springs and a firing mechanism.

EFFECT: simplified design, increased convenience of use and increased muzzle energy of pistol shot.
