The mainspring is configured to act on the piston in the direction of the bullet's flight, the bolt spring is configured to act on the bolt in the direction of the bullet's flight and feed the cartridge into the bore. The magazine is equipped with antennae to keep the extreme cartridge from being squeezed out by the magazine spring.
