FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, namely to pulse power converters. The technical result described below is achieved due to the fact that the pulse power converter is designed to control at least one phase of a multiphase electric receiver with at least three phases. In addition, the power converter contains at least one unit of two converter arms, in which the half-arm (40) of the converter arm contains: a first set (ENS1) of P≥2 switches (I1, I2) connected in series; a second set (ENS2) of P≥2 keys (I3, I4) connected in series; and a third set (ENS3) of diodes (D1, D2, D3, D4), located between the first set (ENS1) and the second set (ENS2), containing M≥2 subsets (SE1, SE2, ..., SEM) connected in series, designated i€ [ 1; M], respectively containing Ni≥2 diodes connected in parallel.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at reducing weight and size parameters of the power converter and reducing losses in the power converter by reducing the parasitic inductance.
