FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to high-voltage power supply systems for powering an electrostatic precipitator. The system has an AC power supply circuit made with the possibility of generating the first and the second AC supply voltages, and two power circuits connected between the AC power supply circuit and the precipitator. One of power supply circuits is a DC power supply circuit made with the possibility of transforming and converting the first AC power supply voltage into a DC reference voltage for the precipitator, while the other circuit is a pulse power circuit having a pulse generation circuit made with the possibility of generating and supplying high-voltage pulses to the precipitator. The AC power supply circuit is designed in such a way that each of AC supply voltages is in the range of medium frequencies, that is, in the range from 100 Hz to 5000 Hz.
EFFECT: economical, lightweight and compact high-voltage power supply system is provided.
