FIELD: ramjet engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a ramjet engine. The air intake device (1) of a supersonic ramjet engine integrated with the aircraft body contains a channel (2) with an inlet window (3) in the form of an annular segment and a critical section (4) and a multi-jump body for stagnating the air flow. The multi-jump braking body is installed in front of the inlet window (3) and is equipped with a streamlined air flow surface made in the form of conjugate segments (6, 7, 8) of conical surfaces with different angles of inclination of their generators to the direction of flight, increasing in the direction of the critical section (4) channel. The radius of curvature of the conical surface of each segment of the multi-jump body of air flow deceleration decreases towards the critical section of the channel.
EFFECT: increased engine thrust and reduced aerodynamic drag.
