FIELD: protection of metals from corrosion.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for inhibiting corrosion of a metal material by treating a surface at risk of corrosion by adding an inhibitor to a solution and periodically treating pipelines with it. The method includes preliminary preparation of a corrosion inhibitor solution in a container located on a mobile pumping unit for acidizing wells, shutting down the well, bleeding gas from the treated section of the pipeline, connecting the mobile pumping unit to the treated area through the end connection of the pressure line and opening the valve of the pressure line. Then, the solution is pumped through the backing line of the well until the in-pipe space of the pipeline section to be processed is completely filled, the valve of the backing line is closed, the pumping unit is stopped and disconnected from the backing line. To form a protective film, the solution is kept in the pipeline, and then the solution is purged from the treated section of the pipeline into the gas-collecting manifold. After the purge is completed, the well is stopped again, then the pipeline is settled to secure the protective film, then the pipeline is put into operation.
EFFECT: creation of a method of inhibitor treatment providing a long-term effect of the corrosion inhibitor film while reducing the metal consumption of equipment and reducing the time for maintenance and repair of pipelines and equipment.
