FIELD: radio engineering; measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the fields of radio engineering and measuring equipment and can be used in devices for measuring the correlation coefficient of a random signal in devices for evaluating the parameters of a random signal of control and information transmission equipment. The technical result is achieved due to a digital meter of the correlation coefficient of a random signal having an analog-to-digital converter, a register, an average value generation channel (AVG), the first quadratic converter, a mean square formation channel (MSF), a correlation function formation channel (CFF), the second quadratic converter, the first subtractor, a clock pulse generator, a digital delay line, a multiplier, a shift control unit, the second subtractor, and a result shaper. Each of the AVG, MSF and CFF channels contain n cascade-connected count accumulators (CA), each CA has an adder and a shift register multi-digit codes.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at providing continuous digital measurement of the correlation coefficient with high accuracy with a minimum number of necessary arithmetic operations.
