FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and a device for transmitting and receiving data over radio channels and can be used to transmit information in wireless communication systems. For this, the transmission method involves determining radio channel states, setting a time interval, determining radio base and control radio channels, separating initial data into fragments, ranking and declaring fragments by residues, obtaining a residue on a reference base, encoding residues, modulating in a modulator with a variable modulation index, are supplied to the inputs of the beam-forming circuit, distributed along the set of the first antennae, and transmitted to the receiver. Method of receiving comprises determining radio channel states, receiving signals by a plurality of second antennas in form of a multibeam antenna array, modulation index is determined, demodulated, decoded, residues are obtained, codeword is recovered. Apparatus for transmitting comprises a unit for estimating state of channels, apparatus for grouping data, a state information transmitter, a modulator, a unit for separating code words, a unit for calculating bases, a control base determining unit, priority ranking unit, channel coder, space-time coder, diagram-forming circuit, adaptive processor, modulator with variable modulation index. Device for receiving data, comprising a unit for estimating channel conditions, a demodulator, a beam-forming circuit, a space-time decoder, a channel decoder, a unit for determining priorities and a recovery unit.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of noise immunity of transmitted data and throughput capacity of communication system.
