FIELD: radio communications.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio communication technology, namely, to a method and device for adapting the modes of packet speech transmission over short-wave communication channels in a complex signal-interference situation. To do this, changes in the communication channel are predicted and the correspondence tables are corrected according to the error probability criterion for a given signal-to-noise ratio, and also signal-code structures are selected with the minimum possible delay for signal generation and processing.
EFFECT: increase in noise immunity in a complex signal-interference situation, an increase in the bandwidth of the communication channel.
