SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of watchmaking, and more specifically to watch movements of a complicated type with additional display functions on the clock of the time of the closest approach of Mars during the period of the great opposition of Mars. A time device for indicating the period of time at the moment of closest approach to Mars during the period of perihelic opposition between Mars and Earth (PPO) contains a case, a clock mechanism and a dial, and the clock mechanism additionally contains a mechanism for indicating the time period at the moment of closest approach to Mars in PPO.
