FIELD: construction machines.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in single-bucket excavators. The hydraulic drive of the excavator boom contains a hydraulic cylinder connected to a hydraulic distributor, which is connected with a hydraulic pump, a hydraulic tank and a hydraulic accumulator. The hydraulic accumulator has a valve, a pressure gauge and connected with the hydraulic pump through a pressure reducing valve. Lowering the boom and charging the accumulator takes place using the potential energy of the boom's gravity and the energy of the hydraulic pump, and lifting occurs using the energy of the accumulator.
EFFECT: increased reliability and expanded functionality, simplified design of the hydraulic drive as well as proposed possibility of energy recovery for the hydraulic drive with any number of hydraulic cylinders.
