FIELD: borehole seismic exploration.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of borehole seismic exploration, it can be used in carrying out works by the method of vertical seismic profiling (VSP) and other methods that require reliable contact of the borehole device with the well wall. In a borehole seismic device containing a sealed case and a controlled pressure device made in the form of a pressure lever, a removable shoe made in the form of a plate in the form of a hexagon extended along the case is rigidly fixed to the case from the side opposite to the lever, coaxially with the case, while the width of the plate exceeds the diameter of the case. Thus, the contact area of the borehole device with the well wall increases compared to the contact area of the device without a shoe, which significantly improves the quality of seismic records. Because the upper and lower parts of the plate have the shape of triangles facing their vertices to the ends of the borehole device, there is no danger of jamming the device in the well, as well as its stop on the irregularities of the wellbore when it is submerged to the required depth.
EFFECT: increased reliability of the contact of the borehole device with the medium while eliminating the danger of the device moving in the well caused by the protrusions of the borehole.
