FIELD: pulse technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of pulse technology, in particular to pulse power supplies and to bridge AC rectifiers. The result is achieved by the fact that active elements are used in the bridge circuit instead of diodes, which are switched on in pairs, forming a half-bridge rectifier, depending on the polarity of the input voltage. Each of the transistors is opened by means of a driver, the control signal to which comes from comparators that track the polarity of the input voltage. In this case, the signal comes to the drivers that control the transistors of the upper arms of the bridge through an optocoupler. The lower arms of the bridge use an external source to power the bridge, and the upper arms take power from the output of the bridge rectifier through capacitor dividers.
EFFECT: reduction of losses on the rectifier element.
