FIELD: structural supports.

SUBSTANCE: structural supports for for industrial machine rotors are described. The structural supports may contain a rigid base having an upper part, a movable plate located above the rigid base, and a bearing housing for the rotor connected to the movable plate. The bearing housing and the movable plate can be designed to slide or move on the rigid base. The supporting structure may also contain holding blocks connected to the bearing housing. Each block of the specified holding blocks may contain a movable holding pin passing through each block of the specified holding blocks. EFFECT: axial movement of the bearing housing and the movable plate can compensate for thermal expansion of the turbine housing and/or can reduce vibration of the rotor and the bearing housing during the operation of industrial machines.
