FIELD: construction industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a technique for separating heterogeneous liquid media, in particular to devices for separating suspensions and emulsions in the field of centrifugal forces, and can be used mainly in the construction industry for the extraction of nonmetallic building materials, in particular for obtaining clean sand in watered quarries by the method of hydromechanization, as well as when deepening river beds and when cleaning water bodies. A hydrocyclone is proposed for the separation of inhomogeneous liquid media, containing a cylindrical-conical body with tangential supply and discharge nozzles, an axial sand nozzle, characterized in that the axial sand nozzle is made of an outlet and an inclined pipeline, interconnected by means of a spherical connection installed at the beginning of the inclined pipeline, the outlet the end of which is connected to a spring fixed on the support, and a scraper valve is installed at the outlet end of the pipe, the damper of which is connected to the support through a kinematically connected lever. In this case, the spherical connection can be made in the form of a flexible hydrocyclone pipeline, for example, a hose.
EFFECT: obtaining clean sand due to the separation of clay-silty components from the water-sand pulp during the operation of a dredger with a changing pulp consistency.
