COMBAT MISSILE FLIGHT CONTROL METHOD Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC F42B15/01

Abstract RU 2748503 C2

FIELD: weapons.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for controlling the flight of a combat missile. In this method, the launch device with a missile (LDM) is placed in the immediate vicinity of the enemy's territory in a place hidden from enemy detection devices, in an underwater position at a depth of 100-300 m from the ocean surface. The launch of a combat missile is carried out when the LDM is located at a depth of 100 m. The LDM is performed with a base made in the form of an annular table with equipment with nozzles of propulsion motors for moving the LDM. When driven by LDM propulsion motors to the starting point by means of electrical connections between the base and the lifting cylinders, shut-off valves are opened to pass compressed air from the compressed air reservoir to the lifting cylinders under the pistons, due to which the pistons rise along the lifting cylinders. The upper part of the lift cylinders above the pistons is constantly in communication with the ocean water, and when the pistons are raised, the water is squeezed out of the upper part of the lift cylinders and the LDM rushes up. When the combat missile reaches the overwater position, the main engine of the combat missile is turned on and its flight begins along a pre-calculated trajectory, the LDM without a combat missile is lowered into a submerged position, and air from the lifting cylinders is again pumped into the compressed air reservoir. The flight control of the combat missile is carried out according to the program recorded in the onboard computer of the combat missile. If deviations of the actual trajectory from the programmed one occur, then the flight of the combat missile is corrected with the participation of the satellite navigation system. The programmed flight path of a combat missile has a variable course and altitude. Initially, the flight of a combat missile is aimed at a false target, upon approaching which the course of a combat missile changes sharply and it flies to a real target. The LDM radio station is turned on for reception at times according to a predetermined schedule and is additionally turned on by order from the command post. The pop-up antenna of the LDM radio station is constantly submerged and pops up only when the radio station is operating, and the radio station itself and the LDM computer are located on the base. Upon request from the command post, this radio station can transmit the coordinates of the LDM location and its operative condition with the participation of the LDM computer and the satellite navigation system receiver. When receiving information from the command post, the LDM computer selects the route of its movement, and also, with the participation of the onboard computer of the combat missile, selects the target and launches the combat missile. The transmission of coordinates to the command post is carried out with planned distortions. To obtain the actual values of coordinates, you need to know the correction factors, which are set in advance and depend on the date and time of day.

EFFECT: reducing material costs for a launch device with a missile (LDM), reducing missile flight time to the target, creating conditions that make it as difficult as possible to locate the LDM.
