FIELD: electronic signature.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for a qualified electronic signature (QES) in the form of a stylus and to a method of its use for signing electronic data packets using the behavioral characteristics of a handwritten signature, in particular for use during the signing of electronic documents, such as PDF files in a mobile environment. A method of application for a QES device in the form of a stylus is proposed, wherein the smart stylus (100) contains a stylus tip (109), a smart card chip (105), a processing unit (106) with the provided memory, processors, a motion sensor (107), a pressure sensor (108), an RF transceiver (102), and the specified intelligent stylus (100) additionally contains a power management button (103), an LED (104), an integrated battery (101) and a real-time clock module. The device additionally contains an external computing device (111) and an electronic data packet (110). The smart stylus (100) provides a CAP by identifying the signature based on handwritten characteristics and behavioral characteristics. At least one characteristic quality of the person who signs the electronic data packet (110) is captured for evaluation. Further, to authenticate the signer, the captured electronic data packet (110) is evaluated based on behavioral patterns stored in the smart stylus (100) prior to authentication. After successful authentication of the signer, the embedded chip (105) of the smart card digitally signs the electronic data packet (110), the fingerprint of which was obtained by means of an RF transceiver (102) from an external computing device (111) providing the electronic data packet (110).
EFFECT: ensured interaction with up-to-date touch screen devices and eliminate the gap between the current QES and traditional signing procedures, as well as effective method for obtaining and using a qualified electronic signature for electronic document management are proposed.
