FIELD: filtering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a filtering apparatus, particularly for filtering lubricating oil. The filtering apparatus is comprised of filtering elements (27), wherein filtering material (43) is placed within each of the elements and the elements are equipped with liquid passage windows (37, 39). The filtering elements are configured to be stackable on top of each other forming an engaged stack and are equipped with a backwashing apparatus (55, 57) located movably along the inner side of the filtering elements (27). The separate filtering elements (27) are made in form of identical parts at least relative to the bodies thereof. A filtering element body (27) at each of the free ends thereof comprises an annular part (29, 31), wherein the annular parts (29, 31) of the filtering element body (27) are interconnected by inner and outer longitudinally extending frame elements (33, 35) limiting the liquid passage windows (37, 39). A filter medium (43) is placed in the space (41) between the inner (33) and outer (35) frame elements.

EFFECT: technical result is simplicity, reduced manufacturing costs, simplified assembly and replacement of filtering elements.
