SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the refrigeration equipment, namely to devices for producing solid carbon dioxide from liquefied carbonic acid. The apparatus for hardening carbonic acid contains an outer layer of thermal insulation and a sealed case between thereof there is a pipeline with a circulating refrigerant, and a channel system with a disk distributor for feeding liquid CO₂ into molds.

EFFECT: technical solution allows producing solid carbon dioxide without a mechanical impact on obtained product, without losses of liquid raw material and with a certain carbonic acid dosage.
