FIELD: automation; teleautomatics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the means of automation and telemautomatics of subways and railways, it is intended for controlling hitchhiking, as well as monitoring its position. The hitchhiking control device consists of control unit (1) and monitoring unit (2). The hitchhiking engine is controlled or held by a voltage generated by galvanically isolated inverter (6), provided that remote control signals are received at the duplicated input of first (3) or second (4) galvanically isolated logic element "I" with an asymmetric failure. The hitchhiking position is monitored by sending code pulses from transmitter (8) to the hitchhiking control circuit and reading the reverse signal from current sensor (12) by receiver (9).

EFFECT: improved device performance and reliability.
