FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to traffic control on railroads. Device for controlling and monitoring hump hand comprises two units for transferring and controlling switch position and unit for controlling track operability and freeness. Each of the switch blocks comprises generator of switch position control pulses and series-connected logic element with asymmetrical failure, control signal generator, inverter control circuit, power converter and stabilisation and protection circuit to outputs of which switch engine circuit is connected. Power converter comprises series-connected bridge inverter, a transformer, the secondary winding of which includes current transformer primary winding in series with rectifier bridge, whose outputs are connected to stabilisation and protection circuit. Control unit has performance control circuit and freeness control pulse generator. Control circuit inputs are connected to secondary windings of current transformers, outputs of the power supply of both inverters and control outputs of both stabilisation and protection circuits. Outputs are connected to inputs of control signal generators and remote signalling channels.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of device efficiency, speed of response and safety.
