FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to anti-freezing agents - low-freezing cooling agents - and can be used to cool internal combustion engines of vehicles, agricultural machines, special machinery, and as a heat-carrying agent in heat exchangers. The described cooling agent for automotive vehicles includes in % wt.: ethylene glycol or a mixture of ethylene glycol with di-, triethylene glycol and/or with glycerin 46.608 to 94.418; anti-foaming agent (polydimethysiloxane with a viscosity of 50 to 500 mm2/s) 0.002 to 0.005; a pH indicator selected from fluorone dyes 0.0004 to 0.001; as anticorrosive additives: dibasic organic acid selected from butanedioic, pentanedioic, hexanedioic, heptanedioic, octanedioic, nonanedioic, decanedioic and/or their mixture and/or monobasic organic acid selected from pentanoic, hexanoic, heptanoic, 2-ethylhexanoic, octane and/or benzoic acid, or a mixture of these acids 0.863 to 2.440; molybdenum-containing alkali metal salts selected from sodium molybdate, lithium molybdate, potassium molybdate and/or ammonium molybdate or a mixture thereof 0.055 to 0.136; alkali metal hydroxides selected from sodium hydroxide, lithium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide or a mixture thereof 0.411 to 0.839; trilon B (ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid disodium salt) 0.0017 to 0.0034; benzotriazole and/or derivatives thereof 0.132-0.292; polycyclic amines selected from urotropine and derivatives thereof 0.195 to 0.406; alkali metal metasilicates, for example, selected from sodium metasilicate pentahydrate, potassium metasilicate pentahydrate 0.03 to 0.087; alkali metal nitrates selected from sodium nitrate, potassium nitrate, lithium nitrate 0.101 to 0.244; borate pentahydrate 0.38 to 0.878; water 2.5866 to 52.060.
EFFECT: improved anti-corrosion properties of the cooling agent and increased alkalinity reserve providing a long service life of the cooling agent without replacement.
