FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to anti-freezing agents - low-freezing cooling agents - and can be used to cool internal combustion engines (ICEs) of cars, agricultural machines, special machinery, and as a heat-carrying agent in heat exchangers. Described is a cooling agent for automotive vehicles which includes in % wt.: ethylene glycol or a mixture of ethylene glycol with di-, triethylene glycol and/or with glycerin 47.520 to 95.870; anti-foaming agent (polydimethysiloxane with a viscosity of 50 to 500 mm2/s) and/or defoaming agent Laprol PD-1 0.002 to 0.005; pH indicator selected from fluorone dyes and/or cement agents Τ 0.0015 to 0.002; as anticorrosive additives: dibasic organic acid selected from butanedioic, pentanedioic, hexanedioic, heptanedioic, octanedioic, nonanedioic, decanedioic and/or their mixture and/or monobasic organic acid selected from pentanoic, hexanoic, heptanoic, 2-ethylhexanoic, octane and/or benzoic acid, or a mixture of these acids, and/or a mixture of secondary alcohols selected from C8-C10 0 to 0.05; molybdenum-containing alkali metal salts selected from sodium molybdate, lithium molybdate, potassium molybdate and/or ammonium molybdate or a mixture thereof 0.024 to 0.051; alkali metal hydroxides selected from sodium hydroxide, lithium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide or a mixture thereof 0.15 to 0.39; trilon B (ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid disodium salt) 0.0001 to 0.001; benzotriazole and/or derivatives thereof 0.101 to 0.246; polycyclic amines selected from urotropine and derivatives thereof 0.09 to 0.212; nitric alkali metals selected from sodium nitrate, potassium nitrate, lithium nitrate 0.100 to 0.256; alkali metal metasilicates selected from sodium metasilicate, potassium metasilicate, lithium metasilicate 0.038 to 0.093; borate hydrate 0.393 to 0.935; boric acid 0.051 to 0.196; water 2.5584 to 51.11.
EFFECT: improved anti-corrosion properties of the cooling agent and increased alkalinity reserve providing a long service life of the cooling agent without replacement.
