SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of chemical technology and can be used in manufacture of cooling agents intended for cooling systems of internal combustion engines of vehicles, agricultural machines, special machinery, and as a heat-carrying agent in heat exchangers operated at low and extremely low temperatures. Described is a cooling agent for automotive vehicles which includes in % wt.: ethylene glycol or a mixture of ethylene glycol with di-, triethylene glycol and/or with glycerin 46.082 to 92.969; anti-foaming agent polydimethysiloxane with a viscosity of 50 to 500 mm2/s and/or defoaming agent Laprol PD-1 0.002 to 0.004; pH indicator selected from fluorone dyes and/or cement agents Τ 0.0015 to 0.0030; as anticorrosive additives: a mixture of secondary alcohols selected from C8-C10 and/or dibasic organic acid selected from butanedioic, pentanedioic, hexanedioic, heptanedioic, octanedioic, nonanedioic, decanedioic and/or their mixture thereof and/or monobasic organic acid selected from pentanoic, hexanoic, heptanoic, 2-ethylhexanoic, octane and/or benzoic acid, or a mixture of these acids 1.818 to 4.206; molybdenum-containing alkali metal salts selected from sodium molybdate, lithium molybdate, potassium molybdate and/or ammonium molybdate or a mixture thereof 0.024 to 0.051; alkali metal hydroxides selected from sodium hydroxide, lithium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide or a mixture thereof 0.15 to 0.39; trilon B (ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid disodium salt) and/or oxyethylidenephosphonic acid 0.0001 to 0.001; benzotriazole and/or derivatives thereof 0.111 to 0.284; water 2.4396 to 50.2811.

EFFECT: lowered crystallization temperature, improved anti-corrosion properties of the cooling agent and increased alkalinity reserve providing a long service life of the cooling agent without replacement.
